Dental Implant Procedure

The First Step: A titanium implant, or screw, is surgically screwed into the patient’s jawbone to replace the removed tooth root. It is this screw that serves as an anchor for the false tooth that will be placed to replace the lost one. Once the implant is installed, the patient will have to wait until the area heals before the next step can take place. This healing process usually takes three months but may vary from patient to patient.
